Sudesh Jayasekara is a seasoned accounting and finance professional with a strong academic foundation and extensive industry experience. He holds an MSc in Accounting & Finance (First Class) from the University of Bedfordshire, UK, a BA in Business Studies from the University of Gloucestershire, UK, and an Advanced Diploma in Administrative Management from the Institute of Administrative Management, UK.

Throughout his career, Sudesh has held senior finance positions in leading organizations, including Finance Operations Manager at Perfect Moment Ltd, Finance Manager at Kolbus UK Ltd, Finance & Administration Manager at Unisnacks Europe Ltd, and Management Accountant at American Apparel. His expertise spans financial reporting, cost management, budgeting, strategic decision-making, business operations, cash flow management, and team leadership.

As a lecturer and lead instructor, Sudesh combines academic rigor with practical insights, delivering training that bridges theory and real-world application. His teaching approach emphasizes clarity, practical examples, and solutions to industry challenges, empowering learners to develop strong professional skills in accounting and finance.

Dr Nadeeka Withanage
Award-Winning CIMA Lecturer | Management Accounting Specialist | Researcher
Dr Nadeeka Withanage is a highly accomplished academic and practitioner in Management Accounting, with over 20 years of teaching and industry experience. She holds a PhD from Royal Holloway, University of London, and an MBA from London Metropolitan University. Dr Withanage has lectured extensively at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels across several well-recognised universities in London. She has led key modules such as Management Accounting, Advanced Management Accounting, Enterprise Strategy, and Business Analysis, and has supervised numerous master’s dissertations. Alongside her university roles, she has trained CIMA and ACCA students through reputable private institutions in London. A committed researcher, Dr Withanage has contributed to internationally recognised academic publications, including book chapters and articles in leading journals. She was part of the team behind the CIMA-funded research project “Reshaping Teaching Excellence” (published in 2025) and contributed to the research team that won the KPMG Best Paper Award at the American Accounting Association Conference in 2023. With rich experience spanning academia and business practice, Dr Withanage brings deep theoretical insight together with real-world application. Her academic interests include:
